How the service is set up
Care is provided directly by me. You engage me yourself, I work under your direction, and the arrangement is written down in plain English before anything starts. Nobody works for me and I cannot send anyone in my place.
Because I am engaged directly by each client, I am not registered with the Care Quality Commission. That registration is for organisations that employ carers and send them out. I explain this on the first call, and I bring my DBS certificate and insurance schedule to the first visit so you can read them yourself.
